Bridger Aerospace provides next generation services and technology to the ever-growing crisis of wildfires throughout North America. Through best in class Type 1 Air Attack platforms, pioneering UAV services and next generation water scooper aircraft, Bridger is redefining the US Aerial Firefighting industry.

The Bridger team has more than 13 years’ experience providing Type 1 Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) Platforms in support of the U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Department of the Interior, CalFire and various state, municipal and local governments. Bridger’s fleet of aircraft and drones fly “Air Attack” operations in support of forest fire management throughout the United States. Bridger is the launch customer for the amphibious fire-fighting aircraft known as the CL-415EA, or “Super-Scoopers.” Upon arrival of the CL-415EAF Super Scoopers will make Bridger the only US provider of Air Attack, Drone and Large Tanker operations to its customers. Bridger has contracts with various agencies of the United States federal government, state, county and local governments.

Approximately 50% of Bridger’s team members are US Military veterans.

Air Attack

Bridger Aerospace has grown quickly over the last 3 years, expanding its fleet from one plane to 9 twin commander aircraft for the 2018 fire season. Bridger is one of the largest Type 1 Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) platform providers in the United States, operating 9 Twin Commander aircraft on contracts covering 100% of the United States. Bridger is a pioneer of new and improved sensor technology to better protect our citizens and firefighters.

Bridger Aerospace was selected by the Department of the Interior to operate unmanned aircraft on a call-when-needed basis over active wildfires throughout the United States. Bridger operates the Silent Falcon UAV which is equipped with Ascent Vision’s CM 100 gimbaled sensor.

This system collects aerial data to support wildland fire operations, search and rescue, and emergency management. This is the first UAV contract by the Bureau of Land Management or the United States Forest Service in support of active wildfire management. The first year of UAV operations will determine standard concept of operations (CONOPS) for the drone. Manned aircraft are not allowed to fly low visibility or unnecessarily hazardous conditions over an active wildfire, unmanned systems will be primarily used to provide incident commanders an additional tool for accurate fire intelligence. UAVs will provide infrared and optical imagery that will allow firefighters to attack with real time data.

Aerial Tankers

Bridger is the inaugural customer for the launch of the CL-415 EAF platform, with Viking Air. Bridger’s purchase of 5 CL415EAF Super Scoopers will make it the only full spectrum aerial fire service provider in the nation.

Bridger Aerospace has an experienced and well-trained crew of maintenance professionals. Bridger ensures that maintenance personnel and their maintenance support staff are well trained and current on all general aviation standards and requirements. Bridger’s maintenance staff are specifically trained to service the Bridger fleet of aircraft. Bridger Aerospace ensures that the maintenance team has all the necessary equipment needed to exceed FAA maintenance standards and maintain USFS and BLM contract aircraft requirements.
